Political analyst and editor at the Telegram.hr portal Jasmin Klarić commented on current topics in Novi dan. He criticized the lack of empathy and cynicism with which HŽ referred to the state of security at railroad crossings.
“It is true that it takes time and money, and of course it is not from yesterday and there are a number of strategies. What particularly hurts and is painful in this case is the tone, that HŽ Infrastruktur washed its hands so that everything is according to the law, the total absence of empathy, and they also gave statistics that show that in the last five years, more people have died where people are protected by ramps and sound signals, but at crossings with St. Andrew’s Cross”, he said Jasmin Klaric and added:
“So, people, don’t make fools of us. The state, the Ministry, the HŽ infrastructure itself is trying to modernize these crossings, there are about 900 of them that are protected only by traffic signs, there is a plan to develop railway crossings so that only one such crossing remains. What then? Let’s remove all ramps when fewer people die on unprotected ones anyway. It’s that kind of cynicism in this tragedy, I’m shocked.”
“When in the world was a government going to be overthrown with one molotov cocktail?”
Klarić also commented on the issue of radicalization in Croatia, about which opinions are divided in the state summit. The President of the State does not believe that there are organized paramilitary groups in Croatia that would overthrow the government, and the Speaker of the Parliament, who also receives information from the Ministry of Interior and the SOA, asserted, like the Prime Minister, that radicalized individuals are networking.
“Everywhere there are individuals who become radicalized, that’s nothing strange. That’s what SOA was talking about. The Prime Minister says that they are joining together, connecting, that there are groups of Jews who are trying to overthrow the government. Maybe he has better information than the secret service that informs him,” Klarić said.
“Let’s not kid ourselves, when in the world was a government going to topple with one molotov cocktail? It’s about the fact that the HDZ wants to cover up this story about the unbelievable robbery at INA, which happened while their staff managed or co-managed the company and supervised its operations, with an invented threat. That story about some kind of radicals who probably train in Sljemen and have terrorist camps is an offensive fabrication that tries to hide this crime. I’m sorry that the HDZ fell for such a political spin, all those powerful Potemkin scenes… In your country, Miro Bulj said that the Ministry for beautifying reality should be established. I think that it already exists, it’s just not called that and it works at full speed and unfortunately, many media work in its function”, he added.
“Plinar East Slavonija is managed directly by the local HDZ, headed by Mario Banožić”
“HERA and HROTA, like those in HŽ infrastructure, will say that everything is according to the law,” said Klarić, commenting on the Ina affair.
“The regulation determines the license for gas trade. It is enough for you to have HRK 20,000 in your account within 30 days and, judging by the example of the company that embezzled money from INA, to have one employee, if that is enough, and obviously it is, then you have to change the rules because literally you invite speculators to earn extra profits”, he pointed out, adding:
“I draw attention to the fact that it is not about individuals or Hungarians, the gas was sold first to the company Istočna Slavonija, and then to OMS-Upravljanje. Plinar East Slavonija is managed directly by the local HDZ, headed by Mario Banožić. The story goes directly to the top of the Government, so let’s not be fooled by the story about terrorists. Let’s go see whose order Eastern Slavonija was working on.”
