Ukrainian parliament member Andrii Osadchuk spoke on the N1 Studio show live about Russia’s position in Ukraine and Vladimir Putin’s war tactics.
“Vladimir Putin he is in a very difficult situation because everything that happens after February 24 goes against his plans. “Last Friday, he became the first conqueror in the history of mankind to announce the invasion of territory, and in fact at the same time his troops were retreating with significant losses,” he said.
She states that in the last month and a half Russian propaganda has changed her tone. First, as he says, they announced the conquest, but now the tone would switch to retreating to better positions. “This means that Russia is withdrawing,” he says.
“Yes, we suffered significant losses, but the Ukrainian army is not surrendering. Our military personnel learn very quickly and today it is the most capable army among all NATO members. However, even though it is not officially a member, it fights for the principles of NATO,” said Osadčuk.
He states that for Ukraine’s allies, the way in which Russia annexed territories does not make any sense. “If you want peace in Europe, you should follow the principles of human rights,” he said.
He says that there are already a hundred confirmations of this nightmare, which is the killing and torture of innocent citizens. It also states that Russia has committed thousands of crimes in Ukraine, and the perpetrators must be punished.

“You have to understand that since May, Putin wants a ceasefire because the Ukrainian army destroyed the myth of the second strongest army in the world. The war will continue as long as Putin has the resources to fight, but he has no plan B and continues to raise the bar for negotiations on his own terms,” said Osadchuk.
After this annexation, he says, we do not see the option of negotiating with him. “We are ready to talk with a future leader in Russia, but not with him,” he claims.
During many decades, the entire Russian foreign policy was based on threats, he states, the West was always afraid of Russia, gave it the freedom to do what it wanted, but in any conflict, if you are afraid, then you lose. The Ukrainian people and the army have confirmed to the whole world that they are not afraid.
“What Putin is doing is what he has been doing for a decade, he is threatening everyone. He wants to live a long life, but they are not ready to die for their beliefs, they want to enjoy their billions. But with constant losses, it is only a matter of time before the regime in the Kremlin collapses,” he said.
He believes that the Russian regime should be even weaker, and all these sanctions were not so effective only because the West is too liberal, which is actually a mistake.
Putin decided to play the role of Stalin or Hitler
“We are ready to talk with a future leader, but not with Putin,” he repeats.
He states that Russia is completely dependent on Western capital, there should be more pressure on it, while Ukraine needs to be given more support.
“Russia is still very strong, but that is nothing compared to what we had the opportunity to see at the beginning of the year. It is very good for us that Putin decided to play the role of Stalin or Hitler,” said the parliamentarian.
He claims that Ukrainian information confirms that he is personally directing the war in the south, and that a large part of the army is trapped on the banks of the Dnieper.
