‘Silent Hill 2’: trailer for remake
Editor’s recommendation
The remake of ‘Silent Hill 2’ is created in cooperation with the Polish developer studio Bloober Games. These have sometimes made a name for themselves in the past with ‘Layers Of Fear’. However, collaborators from the original version of the survival horror game will be involved in the project – including original concept artist Masahiro Ito for creature design and composer Akira Yamaoka for soundtracks. So the creepy atmosphere from back then should also be guaranteed in the new version. According to Ito, the remake of the story about protagonist James Sunderland – in the remake with an over-the-shoulder perspective – had been in the planning for three years. After such a long lead time, it should be on the market as early as next year. The game will initially appear exclusively for the Playstation 5, but a PC version is to follow.
Other projects in the ‘Silent Hill’ series
